TMP System SW HW V3.0, 3.4, 3.6 & 3.8
GEOCHEMISTRY Radon Emission and Carbon Dioxide Flow
Description:
TMP was designed to operate along with a BARASOL sensor which allows radon gas emission measurement. The working principle of this method is based on a silicon surface detector that is sensitive to alpha particles emitted by radon. Detected particles generated electric pulses as concentration measurement within a time range. TMP counts the pulses delivered by the BARASOL sensor and send them to the processing base for its further interpretation. This method records Radon gas Rn-222 concentration, useful for volcanoes monitoring and watching.
All versions support 1 or 2 carbon dioxide concentration sensors to perform flow measurements by diffusion and advenction techniques (N. Oliveras 2019).
